Photographer and Writer
Based in London, Toby is a former British Army officer who served two tours in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Since leaving the military he has managed mine clearance projects across Africa and SE Asia, and advised international business and media organizations working in hostile environments throughout the world. A writer and photographer, he is the author of ‘Sangin – A Glance through Afghan Eyes’, recording his experiences as a mentor to the Afghan police in the summer of 2009. Between traveling and renovating his new place, Toby doesn’t have much down time, but he enjoys what London has to offer whenever he can.
