Composer and musician
After spending his childhood in Connecticut and Northern California, the Brooklyn based artist began writing and performing music in the 1990′s under his own name. In addition to being the former frontman of Battles, he has collaborated with many notable musicians such as Philip Glass and Bjork. In 2009, he released Central Market, his first orchestral album, which was premiered at Lincoln Center in New York. He is the son of multi-instrumental and avant-garde composer Anthony Braxton.
