Photographer and Filmmaker
Ever since she moved to New York City after college in the 80’s, Cheryl has been shooting the characters of the street such as skaters, graffiti writers, bikers, protesters and has published books such as Bicycle Gangs of New York and Some Kinda Vocation. In the late 90’s, she started to shoot films about artists and street cultures. Most recently, in 2010, she made a short film Everybody Street for South Street Seaport Museum which she expanded into a feature length film. Cheryl was a gymnast in college.
